Technical Sales Consultant

MM Solutions is seeking an experienced technical sales consultant that loves to sell high quality, unique custom packaging and logistic products and services. We are a reputable packaging company serving the Aerospace, Medical, High Tech, and Energy industries in Colorado with distinctive packaging solutions. The Sales Hunter should ideally have packaging experience and a passion for value based sales with a strong track record of new business acquisition. The candidate must fit in well selling to C-level executives, facilities managers and engineers. We are looking for a dynamic sales professional who will contribute to the next growth phase of MM Solutions. The ideal candidate will be building and maintaining strong relationships with large accounts. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify new key target clients in the region, including new prospects.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment that will allow you to exceed your financial and professional expectations.
  • Customize and deliver of sales presentations, promotional materials to clients and prospects.
  • Promote MM Solutions brand and value proposition through in-person presence, speaking roles and sometimes booths at key regional trade events.
  • Strong ability to prospect, listen to understand the client's need, understanding the client's pain, budget limitations, and finally fulfilling the needs of the client by closing the sale and delivering
  • Strong ability to manage the project from sale phase through design, production and delivery.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Hunting experience in the packaging industry (desired but not required).
  • 3+ years of documented successful technical selling experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Sandler Sales Training (desired but not required).
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point. Sales Force experience (desired but not required).

Technical Sales Support/Customer Service

MM Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Support and Customer Service Representative to assist with internal and external customer sales, service, and support, including receiving of incoming telephone calls and management of long standing accounts. This position will serve as project manager of customer projects and orders and work with vendors to secure materials for specific projects.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative support to customers by telephone and to walk in customers; provide information about MM Solutions’ extensive wholesale, custom, and technical products and services.
  • Execute order to cash process – including entering Sales Orders, procurement, allocations, delivery, and billing.
  • Coordinate, research and update information and pricing.
  • Maintain inventories of stock items, raw materials and specialty items to fulfill production, customer, and office requirements. Entails assessment of bills of materials, supplier pricing and lead times, and placement of Purchase Orders.
  • Create and process production work orders, including material allocations and review of safety stock levels for all functional business units.
  • Request vendor pricing and prepare quotes for internal sales review, including calculation of tiered pricing where necessary. (More quote preparation will be taken on by the Sales Account Manager as they come up to speed).
  • Manage customer projects, maintaining supporting files, drawings, and quotes.
  • Proactively communicate potential obstacles and suggestions for mitigation to Sales Team.
  • Implement reminder systems, including open Sales Orders and Purchase Orders, outstanding RFQs, customer issues, etc.
  • Proactively implement operational improvements to decrease processing time and minimize errors and redundancies.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules, balancing customer needs with route optimization.
  • Coordinate utilization of staff for on and off site activities.
  • Establish and manage vendor partnerships.
  • Manage customer programs including JIT, Kanban, and semi rigid cable.

Project Coodrdinator

The Project Coordinator will support multiple project managers, as well as departmental upper level management in the EMG SND A/D Division by helping to manage all aspects of the projects and provide support.
This position is responsible to assist in the execution of multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Independent judgment and initiative is required to understand project requirements and provide appropriate administrative support via research, data collection/tracking, analysis, and general organizational activities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for coordinating a varying number of projects for multiple Project Managers in a dynamic environment
  • Assist in planning, tracking and reporting on multiple projects crossing several functional areas
  • Provide high-level administrative support which may include research, material tracking and monitoring, escalations, expediting and part updates, scheduling, engineering support, BOM, technical drawing and part audit, and project update meetings
  • Prepare and track product quality/safety reporting process, product manuals and resulting approval and sign off process; QSO coordinating and managing/supporting a small team responsible for the success of this process
  • Work with engineering design and production teams coordinating their needs and helping the project manager to resolve issues
  • Change Orders: work with Project Managers and other teams to document and create the change order for changes to projects


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Access & custom pricing tools (CAD Data and various other server spreadsheets)
  • Above average ability to prioritize workload
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Resourcefulness, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to gather, analyze and manipulate data
  • Work effectively under pressure with frequent interruptions; coordinate and prioritize a variety of assignments with varying deadlines

Education
  • Preferably a BS in Business with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
